DiggDawg Web App Launch
I’m delighted to announce that DiggDawg web - a web based version of DiggDawg suitable for desktop and tablet devices is arriving Friday 7th June 2024. The web app will be included with your current subscription so no sneaky additional costs/upgrades are required.
The web app will work seamlessly with its mobile counterpart and will update in realtime. What does that mean? Well if you update your calendar using the web app the mobile application will listen for changes and update accordingly without you needing to do anything. Ideal for those that work in pairs or prefer using the laptop at home and mobile on the move.
The web app also offers some advanced features such as bulk invoicing. Previously it was tedious on the mobile app to do this so select your date range & clients and the web app will bulk prepare and send all your invoices. See it in action below…
As well as this I’ve supercharged the whos paid feature on the web app to help you keep on top of the accounts and make sure the admin side of your business is as stress free as possible.
Overall I hope you will find the web app to be friendly, responsive and most importantly helpful in taking care of all of the admin aspects of your dog walking & pet care business.
Post launch
I’ll be honest with you I’m shattered - this web app has been a tough slog so I’m planning on taking some time off from the laptop however one issue I want to look at before I do is for iOS users. There seems to be a slight issue with the calendar so I plan to spend some time investigating this issue to see what can be done to make the app that little bit more performant.
Less manual more automation
Once mobile and web are both settled and any issues are ironed out I plan to look at two major pieces of functionality. The first and most requested is repeatable events - pretty self explanatory but specify an event & frequency and DiggDawg will do the rest. Next I want to look at a way for your clients to book into your diary so you don’t have to.
As you can see the web app is a massive addition however I don’t want to stop there I want to evolve DiggDawg into being the complete tool to manage your business.
Finally as always I want to express how grateful I am to users both new and long term you all rock and I really appreciate the support.
