Pickup and drop off means you’ll never leave a pal behind.

The problem

Pickup and drop off solves a painful problem. We as professional dog walkers & pet sitters deal with so many clients and dogs along with many other factors running our own business. You’ve mentally prepared for the days antics, have the diary in order and know who’s on which walk and where in the van they’ll be. The problem is sometimes we just simply have a moment and forget a dog.

Introducing pickup & drop off

Arriving sometime in March the aim of collection & drop off is to really help minimise the risk of forgetting a dog. Yes we can all keep a mental note of what clients we have each day but ultimately mistakes happen we are human after all.

This new feature will allow you to reorder clients within a group or event via drag & drop functionality in any order that suits. Then you can use collection & drop off to pragmatically check off when you have collected and returned you four legged friend.

You’ll also get timestamps which I’m sure a lot of you will find handy if you need to clarify timings with a client.

Customise your groups and events

Any dogs assigned to a household will automatically be grouped together but you also have the option change the order of your groups and events.

You may want to rearrange your groups in the order you collect them.

Amending your pricing

Needing to globally amend your default walk charge for 50+ clients? The next release will allow you to update on a global scale saving you the need to do it on a per client basis.

Simply navigate via your pricing defaults and select the checkbox before saving.

Getting there

Now that the new mobile app is stable and working well I can finally start getting around to the backlog of feature requests you have all been sending me.

I’ll be sharing a long term plan of new features in the near future so keep and eye out.
