Invoicing for households

The problem

Invoicing for households is going to be a small yet handy feature. DiggDawg is evolving into a must have tool for professional dog walkers and pet sitters and one of the best features is how smart DiggDawg is to be able to generate invoices based on your diary. You can select the date range & clients you want to invoice and boom DiggDawg will do the rest. One area where DiggDawg could do better on is to group clients from the same household. As it stands you have to invoice individually.

The solution – introducing households

Households are collections of clients that are used for invoicing. When creating an invoice, clients in households are automatically grouped together.

This is just another step on DiggDawg’s goal of being the go to solution for pet care professionals.

Creating a household

Creating a household is a lot like creating a group but it serves a different purpose.

You define a name for your household, owner details, a colour to associate with the household as well as the clients that are included – and thats all there is to it.

You can see here we’ve created our household and used DiggDawg’s invoice generator to create invoices for households.

Prior to this you would have needed three separate PDF invoices for all three clients

Future enhancements

Invoicing for households is a small but really effective change with the aim to make managing your pet care business even simpler. What’s even better about this change is what future enhancements are likely to arise after this release. Imagine same household discount for events & invoicing?

All in due time however for now enjoy easy invoicing.
