April Updates: Exciting New Features for Dog Walking and Pet Care Enthusiasts

The latest updates to the DiggDawg app have introduced key features like invoicing and DIY calendar events, much to the delight of users. While these enhancements have been warmly welcomed, the app is still evolving. Coming this March/April, we’re rolling out more improvements and exciting features tailored to simplify dog walking, pet sitting, and overall pet care management.

Boarding Events: A New Way to Track and Record

Managing pet boarding just got easier! A new Boarding Events tab will allow you to log important details about each boarding experience. You’ll be able to record key information, including how the event went and any notes on medication or dietary requirements for the dog. This feature is still being refined to ensure it meets your needs, so stay tuned for more updates.

Who’s Paid? Simplified Payment Tracking

Tired of hunting through profiles to check payment statuses? The Dog House section is getting a brand-new tab for payment tracking, making it easier to see which calendar events have been paid or remain outstanding. View statuses for weekly or monthly periods at a glance, saving you time and effort.

Push Notifications: Stay in the Loop

We’re introducing push notifications to keep you informed. These alerts will notify you about app updates, blog posts, requests for reviews, and important information like errors or bugs. Stay connected without missing a beat!

Final Words

That’s what’s in the pipeline for the next update! Got ideas for features you’d like to see? Reach out to DiggDawg on social media. We’re always listening. Until then, enjoy the app and have a fantastic day!

Boarding Events

User will now get an additional tab for filling in details about the boarding event and how it went. I’m still researching what kind of information you will be able to add but you will be able to add information about a boarding event such as how it went and details on any medication/dietary requirement the dog may have.

Who’s Paid?

Whilst you can go into a dogs event history to find out what calendar events have been paid/unpaid there isn’t an easy way of seeing who has paid in a weekly/monthly period so the dog house will be getting an additional tab to make it easier to see the status of outstanding payments. This will save you having to visit each dog’s profile in order to get this information.

Push Notifications

The aim of push notifications will be there to keep you notified of app updates, blog posts, the odd request to review the app and if there is any information you need to know about such as errors/bugs.

Final words

So thats whats in the pipeline for the next update. If you have any features you would like to see hit DiggDawg up on the socials otherwise have a great day.
